Reverend [開道]

A reverend who is always telling his apprentice to have faith but is the first to run when trouble arrives. Was unlucky enough to bump into both Kyokotsu and Ginkotsu.

Rin [りん]

A human girl who tended to Sesshomaru when he was injured. She was killed by Koga's wolves, but she was revived by Sesshoumaru's Tenseiga.

Royakan [狼野干]

Wolf guardian of hell who spits out infinite number of 3-eyed wolves. He is usually a gentle creature, but was used by Naraku with means of Sacred Jewel fragments to attack Inu-gang.

Ryukotsusei [竜骨精]

A gigantic dragon demon with a body of steel. He was sealed away by Inuyasha's father, but was revived by Naraku. The wound inflicted on Inuyasha's father by him ultimately killed him. Inuyasha had to slay him in order to learn the Backlash Wave.

Saimyoushou [最猛勝]

Naraku's bugs from the Hive of Saimyosho. Also known as the Insect of Hell [地獄の虫]. They are very poisonous, and are the weak spot for Miroku's Wind Tunnel. Basically Naraku's errand boys.

Salamander Monster [山椒魚妖怪]

Used to be a great demon who used to ruled a valley. Was subdued and sealed in a scroll by a priest. To destroy its form, they peeled off its skin and the priest drew a portrait of the Goddess of Mercy on the scroll to seal its soul forever, never to be reincarnated. After Naraku gained a new body and released the demons from Mount Hakurei, its demonic powers were strengthened, and managed to manipulate a village of women to kill men, so as to get skin for its new form.

Sara [娑蘿]

A princess from the Asano castle who fell in love with Sesshomaru, and knew of his wish for Tetsusaiga. At her deathbed, she gave herself to demons, much like Onigumo, and the demons ended up taking over her body so as to exact revenge on Sesshomaru. When she finally died, Sesshomaru placed her beloved flute on her ashes, telling her to "Keep playing your flute in the world above…".

Satsuki [サツキ]

A girl who awaits the return of her elder brother. She was given a quartz by him, and made to believe that it was a Sacred Jewel fragment which would ensure his return. Shippo's first crush.

Sayo [小夜]

A village kid who is very attached to Kikyo. Had a fright when she witnessed Kikyo killing Master Seikai.

Seikai [僧]

A master monk who tried to send Kikyo on her way, but was killed by her instead.

Seiri [青龍]

A Younin who is versed in Ninja skills. Also known as Seiri of the Moon, this horny demon with skin problem is part of the four Younins serving Hoshiyomi.

Serina [セリナ]

The elder of a pair of sisters who were Sango's apprentices. They came from a village of ninja agents (shinobi / 忍者) which was wiped out by demons. The sisters wanted to steal the Demon Slayer's weapons to restore their village. She is softer and weaker than Suzuna.

Sesshomaru [殺生丸]

Weapons / Attacks	Uses a whip, and later, the Tenseiga [天生牙] and Tokijin [闘鬼神]. Main attack is his poison claws. Tokijin broke in The Final Act episode 2 when it cracked Moryomaru's tough armour, the same episode in which Sesshomaru named one of it's attacks Blue Dragon Blast.

Sha Gojo [沙悟凈]

Technically a kappa, which Chokyuukai claimed to be the descendant of Sha Gojo from Legend of Saiyuki [西遊記]. Tied by a rope to Chokyuukai and helps with his abduction of pretty girls.

Shako [シャコ]

Sango's grandfather, who was the chief in the Village of the Demon Slayers in the past. Also wields the Hiraikotsu and has a close relationship with Kirara. After slaying the Centipede Mistress, he passed the Sacred Jewel to Kikyo to purify it.

Shihou / Myo [しほう]

Shikigami: Snake [式神]

Tsubaki's messenger demon, in the form of a snake.
