A demon transformed from the desires of thief Onigumo. The big-ass villian in the anime. Often set insidious traps in order to taint the Sacred Jewel darker. This guy doesn't seem to die. And he has many spawns to boot. Has lots of detachments to do his dirty work, some of which are Kagura, Kanna, Hakudoshi, etc.

The thief that Kikyo sheltered. He suffered horrible burns and was paralyzed. He desired Kikyo, and offered his body to demons to gain power. Naraku was born out of this merging of demons into his body. His burnt scar is the reason why Naraku has a spider-shaped burn mark on his back.

Chief leader of the Panther Devas [豹猫族]. The Panther Devas come from the West, and had fierce battles with both Sesshomaru and his father. He was killed by Sesshomaru's father, but was mummified. The four siblings then revived him with the Sacred Jewel fragments. Very cruel leader who stooped to killing his own subordinates to replensish his soul.

Rasetsu no Kansuke [羅刹の勘助]

An old bandit who teamed up with Onigumo fifty years ago to plunder and terrorize towns. His eye was blinded by Inuyasha, when he tried to take the Sacred Jewel from Kikyo. When Onigumo betrayed him, he had him burned and thrown down a ravine. Having committed a lot of atrocities, he is now looking for a resting place to atone his sins. He died before he could reach Mount Hakurei, and pleaded Kikyo to carry a bunch of his hair to the mountain.
